Shops in the Village

The shops in the Village of Bobcaygeon offer a great variety of fashion, footwear, home furnishings and sporting equipment.

If shoes and clothing are your passion, you will want to visit Bigley Clothing and Shoes.

Find all the water-sport equipment and clothing you need at Buckeye Surf and Snow, just across the street from Lock 32 in the heart of the Village.

A trip to Bolton Street, Market Square and the Bobcaygeon Farmers’ Market is sure to garner a little treasure.

Eat In or Take Out

If you’re looking for something to tempt your taste buds, you will find food for every appetite in the Village.

Enjoy a quick meal at Subway, or relax with a drink on a restaurant patio or enjoy a delicious meal while overlooking the canal at the Water’s Edge restaurant.

If you are in the mood for a special treat, try the world-famous ice cream at Kawartha Dairy.

Sport and Play

Stroll through the Village and enjoy the many heritage buildings, the clean beach and beautiful work of the horticultural society.  From swimming to fishing, there’s plenty to do in the area.

Golf at one of the region’s many courses, or boat along the Trent Severn Waterway

Discover one of Ontario’s finest museum collections at the Horseless Carriage Museum.  Pass a little time in olde time Kawartha Settlers’ Village.

Docking and services are available to boaters at Buckeye Marine and Centre Point Landing.

For fishing supplies from bait to licences, we recommend Mark’s Worm Warehouse (705-738-5743)

Take a lawn chair to the Locks on a Thursday night and enjoy music by barbershop quartets, crooners and first nations pow-wows; Concerts in the Park run from July to the end of August.
